What does the school counselor do?
Our school counselor is Sabrina Menchaca Canales. She is a graduate from Western Michigan University with a Master of Arts degree in Guidance Counseling. She works with our students in many different ways. She helps with life planning and skill building for each student. Some of the ways students get this is working with Sabrina in; career planning, school planning, job hunting, seeking out community resources, organizing volunteer projects and problem-solving through counseling. Sabrina’s door is always open to students, parents, guardians and friends. Stop by and say Hola!
